  • "Finding clients satisfied means I have fulfilled my mission"

    I joined Reed MIDEM in 2009 as Senior Sales Advisor, and from 2013 onwards, I became Visitors Sales Manager. My mission evolved into a position of managing commercials seeking for new visitor customers. It is not just about developing a personal portfolio of clients but it’s about piloting performance and promoting team development. It is an opportunity that provides me with greater visibility over the commercial strategy and a challenge that enables personal progression. I always keep a privileged relationship with clients to stay close to the field but the challenge is now to share my knowledge and skills, so the team can develop the frequentation of visitors in our exhibitions, while ensuring client satisfaction.

    For me, Reed MIDEM – and specifically the Entertainment division – is not just about sales. It offers an excellent opportunity to understand the workings of the marketplace in the television and music sectors. Being up-to-speed about the latest trends, knowing our client companies, and of course knowing our “product” are all key for a good customer relationship.

    The preparation for each market is a team challenge, but also a fresh personal challenge. What is driving me forward are the good connections I maintain with the clients and the passion to know more about the industry. That said, organisation and rigour are essential to always remain efficient while dealing with such large client portfolios.

    My solid background in the industry allows me to give good commercial advice to our clients. Going onto the market floor to meet my clients – the first-timers, but also those who have been coming for years – and finding them satisfied means I have fulfilled my mission.
