  • "Being in contact with people from around the world"

    Reed MIDEM hired me as Awards Assistant, and I was quickly promoted to Awards Coordinator, then to Awards Manager.

    This is actually a real project manager’s job. I manage everything, from creating entry forms to handling submissions, composing the jury panels and organizing jury meetings, preparing the awards ceremonies, right through to coordinating all the communication tools for the awards. When people have questions about the awards, I am the dedicated contact – the Awards girl!

    I have the chance to travel to Cannes and Hong Kong for work, and I get to speak French, English and a bit of Spanish, Chinese and Japanese. As I grew up in a multi-cultural environment, I love being in contact with people from around the world and Reed MIDEM offers me this great opportunity, in addition to a friendly work environment.

    It is always fulfilling to see the Awards start from nothing then turn them into a prestigious event, and it is my challenge to make them a success year after year.
